‘Sanju Weds Geetha’ for Christmas

Comedy actor turned director from ‘Aramane’ Nagashekhar in his second film ‘Sanju Weds Geetha’ a tribute to late Shanker Nag has finished the talkie portion and leaving abroad for the song shooting.

‘Sanju Weds Geetha’ starring charming Ramya and Srinagara Kitty, a movie that happens from morning 5 am to evening 5 pm, is produced by engineering college friends of director Nagshekar – Pramod Narayan and Murali Mohan. The film’s audio release is planned for Deepavali and release during Christmas this year. It was in October 2009 the film ‘Sanju Weds Geetha’ was launched.

The film also stars Suhasini Manirathnam and Jai Jagdish in important roles. Both acted together in ‘Bandhana’ in the past.

The whole film is dedicated to his ardent guru Shanker Nag. Four minutes Shanker Nag clippings will be in the opening of the film says Nagashekar.

Srinagara Kitty plays the lead role and he had seen something special in the second half narration explained to him. Minute changes have been made for the story that has been on papers for the past three and half years. Kitty plays the 10th rank engineering degree holder. Ramya is in a performance oriented role.

The film was shot in Ooty and then a Central Jail set was erected at Kanteerava studios to match the late 80’s of Bangalore city Central Jail (it is now a Freedom Park). The Maharani’s College opposite to it is also important landmark for this film.
